About
Arneecia N. Romeo joined Texas Southern Athletics as an Academic Advisor for the Department in September of 2016.
Previously, Romeo served as Academic Advisor in the JHJ School of Business School and served over 1000 students to meet their academic needs. Before joining the business school she served as an academic advisor in Student Academic Enhancement Services.
Romeo began her career as an investigation specialist III for Adult Protective Services. She grew up in Houston and graduated from Jack Yates High School and is a proud Texas Southern Alumni.
She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Texas Southern University in 2005 and a Master’s of Community Development at Prairie View A & M University in 2007.
Romeo is committed to ensuring that students meet their academic goals by working with all stakeholders to provide a strong support system. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to travel.
