About
Dr. Emiel Owens, Jr. received his Doctorate at University of Houston with an emphasis in Research Methods and Mathematic Education. Dr. Owens has written over 30 journal articles and 8 book chapters over his career. He is currently an Associate Professor in the College of Education at Texas Southern University, and teaches courses in Educational Research and Statistics. His duties also include serving as Assessment Coordinator for NCATE accreditation. Current research interest is in modeling longitudinal data.
