Lillian B Poats

Dr. LILLIAN B. POATS is a Professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Foundations and Dean of the College of Education at Texas Southern University. Dr. Poats earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Purdue University. She also holds a  Masters Degree in Counseling and the Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Texas Southern University. Poats previously served as Associate Dean of the Graduate School and Director of Certification in the College of Education at Texas Southern University.
