About
Dr. Mahesh Vanjani is a Professor of MIS and the Associate Dean of the Graduate School at Texas Southern University. Prior to his appointment he served as the Chair of the Department of Business Administration and Director of Graduate Programs in Business at the Jesse H. Jones School of Business at Texas Southern University. Dr. Vanjani earned his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems (MIS) with minors in Managerial Economics and Production Operations Management from the University of Mississippi. He also obtained his MA in Economics degree and MBA degree from the University of Mississippi. His Bachelor of Commerce degree is from the University of Calcutta, India. Dr. Vanjani has a great passion for and is a firm believer in the value of higher education at the graduate level. As borne out by research and employment data relevant a graduate degree is of tremendous value regardless of the chosen career path post-graduation.
